Activities for kids/ toys for kids

 In this pandemic, school has been closed, children are spending their whole time at home, no school, no malls, no parks, no visit to any ones house. They are getting bored and spending most of their time in front if tv, mobile, ipad etc. So i am going to tell you some activities, that will keep your child away from screens, so lets go through it-

1) Colouring- colouring is very good activity for kids. It provides opportunity to practice and develop many skills such as concentration, fine motor skill, coordination for early writing skill and correct finger grip.



2) Block games- block games help to learn about shapes, size,  texture, structure. It develops new ideas in kids and improve their decision making, it develops their fine and gross motor skills.



3) Jenga-  jenga helps in hand eye coordination and strategic thinking as well as developing problem solving capability, improves fine motor skill and social skills. Jenga comes with various colours and tasks, it helps kids to have interest in jenga.



4) Bowling-  bowling sets also develops hand eye coordination and motor skills. It also comes with different colours, it helps them to learn about colours.


5) Play dough-  play dough also improves their fine motor skill and gripping. It helps kids to make whatever they want, it is a creative experience.


6) Brainvita-  it is a brain challenging game. It really boost your child brain. It elevates your childs concentration power. They will strategise their moves in order to make minimum marbles on thd board.


7) Lego-  it helps them to follow the instructions and make complex design. It is a visualisation game. They visualize a picture on their mind, and make that picture real with the help of lego. It also improves fine motor skill of child. It engage kids for long time.


8) Bucket & ball-  keep the bucket at some distance and tell the child to throw the ball in the bucket from a fixed distance. The ball should go into the bucket. It will be a fun game for your child and it also improves hand eye coordination.


9) Listen and add-  in this game you have to say 1 word and kids have to add 1 extra word in it and say both and this continues. It develops the remembering power of your child.

10) Ball and the loop- in this game, child have to balance the ball in between their legs, and carry it to some distance and put in in the loop. Its a kind of balancing game.

11) Scrabble-  last but not the least scrabble also help kids in learning new words. It helps your child to remember the spellings and develps new words. It is very helpful for kids in learning through fun.


So these are some activities you can do with your child or tell them to do. It will be fun for your child and these activities will help them to engage for long time and develops their skills.
